Think Logic’s IQ600 Earth Fault Detector uses a proprietary and patented technology to actively scan for earth/ground faults in un-grounded PV arrays and battery systems.
Capable of detecting faults on systems up to 600VDC, it is powered from a 30-60V DC source, making it the ideal solution for PV installations utilising 48V batteries.
Whilst other earth fault detectors require the fault to be present in order to detect and measure the fault current, the IQ600 does not. Once installed, the proprietary technology actively scans and detects even the potential for faults on the battery or PV array’s DC bus. In fact, there is no need for a voltage to be present on the bus in order to detect a fault, meaning the integrity of your PV array can be monitored 24hrs a day – even when the sun isn’t shining! Now that’s smart!
Think Logic’s IQ600 Earth Fault Detector has audible and visual alarms, an auxiliary relay output, and complies with the requirements for earth fault detection in accordance with AS/NZS 5139 and AS/NZS 5033.
